المستخلص

This paper studies the Spanish translation techniques used in translating Spanish comedies of one of the early works of the playwright Jardiel Poncela: Una Noche de Primavera Sin Sueño (1927) into Arabic language, indicating which techniques were frequently used in order to discuss their applicability to translate humoristic elements shown in the play written by one of the representative playwrights of the 20th century. This paper follows a descriptive approach which aims to identify the problems that faced the translator to find the exact terminology to achieve the required translatability of the humoristic elements in Una Noche De Primavera Sin Sueño into Arabic language and to describe the results of the analysis of translation techniques. We count on the GTVH developed by Salvatore Attardo and Victor Raskin to explain the humoristic elements and the model proposed by Hurtado Albir for the translation techniques.
